ProTec Pool Party is in the History Books, and the Embassy Crew represented Loud & Proud! Big ups to Little Steven Pineiro for making the cut. He finished 7th overall, not bad for the 14 year old in his 1st ProTec Pool Party. He had killer lines, hyped up the crowd, pulled off his 5’s. Hit the corners, kept his speed up. His finger flip body jar was a crowd pleaser. Ben Johnson mixed the cut by one. Ben had the combi on dial. Ben’s skate the place with aggression and reckless abandon. In the Masters, Embassy had Ken Fillion, Dave Reul & Pat Black in the mix. The Reuler was stoked to have his new model out. He was struggling w/ back spasm’s through out the day, but promised to skate. He said “I have to earn my drink tickets”. Fillion laid down his pattened inverts and big backside airs. Pat Black, Embassy’s newest addition was in the last heat of the day, which included Tony Hawk. Highlight was his Texas Plant on the hip on his new Tex Gibson deck. Chaz Pineda and Noel Mire were on hand for the festivities. Joining the Embassy Crew @ Ben Butler’s Pool. This gathering is always an A-list of character’s. Chaz throw it down, Noel drank it down. Fun times for all. Congrats to Pedro Barros for taking the Pro division and to Chris Miller for recapturing the Master’s crown. ProTec Pool Party is always a good time. Big props to World Cup, Van’s, Rockstar, Steve Van Doren, Kristy Van Doren, and everybody who helped throw it down.
