It was that time of year again. The Shut Up and Rumble was in full effect, with all the usual cast of characters. This year I’d have to say was Lincoln Ueda who put on an ALL DAY DISPLAY, Going BIG on most of his airs, backside, frontside, alley-opps, it didn’t matter, if you were as priviledged to be on the deck as I was, You were always looking up!! Lincoln had the tranny down within a couple of runs. Fun to watch him kill it all day!! It wouldn’t be a “Rumble without a Phillips 66”, so Chris Gentry made sure to make it Official early on. We counted, and only came up with 7 skaters who can actually do one (Phillips 66). Gary Morris made the trip down from Oklahoma, Ben Johnson was there fresh off his Cali Stint. Angry Andy was there representing, (when he wasn’t under the tent drinking down the man sodas Or throwing is new embassy deck), TRUE to Angry Andy fashion. Craig Johnson is always there anytime an event pops up in the big D!! The Demon Seed guys were repping, Mike Crum was killing it. He was doing some SICK “arch-you’re back” inverts (tuck-knee’s, andrecht’s). Will Cortez from Entropy Skateboards was killing it!!! Alot of the confirmed skaters hit Bucky’s Bar-B-Que in Cali, instead of making the Rumble, but that didn’t stop us from having a good time of Skate, Music and Brews.
